Simi Anthropo is a tool for matching center of gravity models to the individual anthropometric features of an individual being tested.
In order to do this, segment lengths and circumferences are measured and input to the software which then calculates individual segment centers of gravity and their weighting within the whole body.
Calculations are based on scientific models (e.g. Hanavan, Dempster, deLeva etc.)
Models generated by Simi Anthropo can then be used in Simi Motion to calculate the position of the center of gravity during a movement. It is also possible to plot the paths of the segment centers of gravity.
